Fly size April 14, 2008 Tania (London, UK) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
A lovely looking shoe. Unfortunately a size 39 fitted as if it were a size 36!--It's a small, narrow fitting shoe.
Lovely shoes but really small April 30, 2008 Marycatrob (Guernsey, Channel Islands) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Would have had 5 stars if were not for the weird sizing. I am a typical 6 and the 6 (39) that arrived felt like a 5 but I have persevered with them and they are not too bad now! Lovely looking shoes so i ordered a 7 in the brown and they are a lot better although a bit loose. Shame they have no half sizes.
Too small June 18, 2008 H. R. Hawken 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought a brown pair in the sale and they look great with jeans or a skirt. I have quite wide feet anyway but these are very small for a 6 and with this style of shoe you can't really buy a size bigger as they'd be always slipping off. The sole is lovely and squidgy to walk on though! I just won't be wearing them for too many hours at a time because they're so tight aroung the toes.
WAYYYYY TO SMALL July 2, 2008 Ms. T. L. Curtis (London) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am normally a comfortable size 6 1/2 or 7 and when I ordered the size 7, I couldn't even fit my foot into the shoe! Very very narrow shoe and fit smaller than your normal size BUT they are nice looking.
Whatever you do order one size bigger - Think Big July 30, 2008 Holly Hero 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great looking shoes; they give you hight without the discomfort of a high heel, very squashy bouncy to walk in, the trade off is that they are a narrow fit, even if you order a size bigger. I'm on the large side of 6 so even the 7 feels slightly tight, 7 fits like a small 6(a 6 is a 7 and a 5 is a 6 and so on, these sizes are not standard UK sizing at all). I was fortunate enough to have tried a 6 on in a shop so knew I needed a 7, even so these are tough to break in. I just wore them for half a day and ended up feeling like Jen out of the IT crowd when she wore size 5 shoes (when she's an 8), when she took them off her toes were all messed up and crossed over (I nearly died laughing - with empathy) anyway I digress and you won't know what I'm talking about if you haven't seem it. I think if I were on the small size of 6 a 7 would be perfect, if you're a 1/2 size - you're buggered. I'm starting to wonder what an 8 would have been like. I can imagine that they could be really comfy if they were a bit softer, I hope mine break in soon!
