These shoes are called 'original' but they aren't really. They're now made in Thailand, not the UK, and are far less substantial than they used to be. The thick sole in the picture is only that depth at the very edges - across most of it's width it's fairly thin compared to the way they used to make them. They also seem to be narrower than the UK-made ones and pinch my outermost toes. At 33 their reasonable value but I wish that they were 'proper' DMs.
