Very wide not extra long!! January 10, 2008 DeBe (London) 27 out of 27 found this review helpful
I received my boots today and for less than 30 I really don't think there is anything that you could fairly complain about! They are wide boots but I wouldn't say they were overly long. I ordered a 7 and am usually a size 6.5-7. They are generous but I wouldn't want smaller with socks on. There is about 0.5 " free at the toe and not any more than that. As for the UGG v EMU debate, "You pay your money and take your choice". I would say the Emus have a much stronger sole and are more structured than UGGS. The heel and toe are reinforced inside to provide better wear and this means they also retain their shape better and your foot is less likely to slope over to the side. The UGGS are softer, have little structure, so are more comfortable on the foot to begin with, but don't provide support or retain their shape. If you factor in cost, then you absolutely cannot beat the Emus. At this price you could buy four pairs of Emus and have change from one pair of UGGS. So it really boils down to whether or not you need to have that UGG label and if it is worth the extra 100+? (and in my case that was a no brainer especially as I need the extra structure that the reinforced Emu provides!)
Way Too Big November 30, 2007 Andrea Smith (Norfolk, England) 20 out of 28 found this review helpful
Bought a pair of these in size 8 (i'm a 7 ), and as per a previous review thought they would be on the tight size, so thought they'd be perfect. My boyfriend who's a size 10 could wear these quite comfortably. I reckon I could have fitted in a 6 easily. (I must have received a wrongly sized pair according to other reviews as they were really enormous). I received a real pair of UGG's for Christmas and there is no comparison between the two. The EMU's are really heavy and bulky, and the suede is hard.
Addicted to emus!! June 21, 2008 C. C. Morgan (Staffordshire, U.K) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
Well, I have just purchased my 7th!!! pair - I have 5 pairs in various colours, my daughter has 2 pairs.. They are brilliant!! Yes, they can come up a little roomy, but no more than approx half inch larger than your true size. I have, red, brown, black, grey and beige, and would NEVER buy a pair of ridiculously priced Uggs, when you can get these for such a good price now - You can wear them throughout the Seasons, they are ultra comfy and go with just about anything, they are wonderful, truly, I love em!!

I just got 'em and I am 150% pleased with my Emu's!! It was definately worth the buy and I would recommend it to anyone! I am so happy I bought these instead of Uggs as I saved a lot money and still got quality boots and Im already planning my next buy. They are now officially the most comfortable shoes I own!
Happy Feet! January 22, 2008 Mrs. Robin Smith (England) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Having worn 'Primarni Uggs' with a synthetic interior and floppy heel, all I can say is these are a totally different animal. The sole is thick and springy, and the real sheepskin doesn't make your feet sweat. The Emu Bronte boots are stiffer than the Emu Stingers, but still very comfortable indeed. Wonderful value for money too!
