New Shoes. June 5, 2007 Mrs. Amanda Conquest (Essex, U.K.) 42 out of 45 found this review helpful
I have just got my new Holey Soles Explorer shoes and I must say that they are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. Forget Clarkes and even more expensive ones, these are brilliant. I can't wait to try them out in all weathers. It makes a real change for me to be able to wear shoes straight away and I do not get blisters or some part of my foot hurts. Well done to the manufacturer. These are ace!!!
Amazingly comfortable! June 19, 2007 TPFringe (UK) 33 out of 35 found this review helpful
I too jumped on the bandwaggon and bought a pair of these shoes. Imagine my surprise when i discovered that they were indeed the most comfortable shoes in the world. I live in mine and would like a pair in every colour.

I think you people have forgotten a flaw in these ... they make you look like a prat.
A comment on other people's reviews August 10, 2007 C. Bligh (Cambridge, UK) 22 out of 46 found this review helpful
I haven't tried this particular brand, but I'm a great fan of the original Crocs - indeed I have 6 pairs of them in different colours! However, I was recently tempted to buy a pair of Croc look-alikes (the brand was "Mocs"). They seemed OK when I tried them on, but within half an hour of wearing them I had blisters on the toes of both my feet. A complete waste of 15!!! I can't of course comment on these Holey-Soles ones, but I shall only be buying the genuine Crocs in the future, at 30 a pair which I rate as good value given how fabulously comfortable they are. I happen to have quite wide feet. The imitation Crocs may be OK if you've got narrow feet, but definitely not for wide feet. Unfortunately Amazon insists I give a star rating in order to be able to post these comments - so I've given a 3* as a compromise, hoping not to overly distort the product's average customer rating.
Disappointing August 6, 2007 Beefy Shrimp (Bucks, U.K.) 21 out of 27 found this review helpful
Firstly, they were delivered by courier and not Royal Mail so a signature was required. No option of just leave round the back and deliveries only 9-5, M-F. Secondly they look and feel a little "cheap" and don't instill confidence about longevity. They are though reasonably comfortable (although feet do sweat) and practical. At 15, they do not represent great value for money so buy them if you want but don't pay a penny more.
