We live in the London area, and so the times we travel by car are few and far between, however, when my son James was born, I needed to find a car seat for just these occasions. This Fisher-Price Safe Voyage Infant Carrier is really perfect for us! It's so lightweight, and no problem for me and hubby to carry along with the other gear when we're going somewhere by car but returning via public transport. The price is great, I really didn't want to spend too much on a car seat since we don't need it all the time. It's very simple to install and the instructions are on a label on the carrier in case you forget how it's done, which is great for us new mums with "nappy brain." We even took James on the long flight to Los Angeles in this carrier and it was easy to stow in the overhead compartment on the plane, and we used it in the car in L.A. as well. Money well spent!
