Potty.. More like a Throne!!! August 3, 2005 Mrs A M Harrison 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
Bought this for my son hoping he would take to it straight away... Unfortunately kids are kids and it took him ages to sit on it but hes getting the grip now... Not a bad product in all makes noises and stuff BUT and its a big but..You cant switch the thing off so batterys run out quick.. Book supplied is about 4 pages long and i dont think its made for a child potty training. Tray comes out of bottom very easily so spillages.. BIG Time will occur. Plus side- Very sturdy, robust,Kids cant put it on there head cos too heavy. All in all a OK potty. And it does make potty training fun for kids. Depends on your child/ren.
Fantastic potty, my son did it in less then a week! September 24, 2005 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
A fantastic item, i totally recommend it and i'm sure my 2yr old will too! He hated the other pottys as just didnt feel secure whilst sitting on them. He loves the fanfare it plays and has no problem sitting on there for as long as necessary (sometimes longer - its hard to get him off it!). Downside: The bottom can fall out easy so you have to be careful of spillages and if its not on accurately my son has leaked out the side when hes going. Other then that very easy to use and has made this potty training malarky a hell of alot easier then i expected!
Royal wash out September 28, 2006 A. Rickard (UK) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought one of these potties for my little girl to have in her room as I thought it would encourage her to get out of bed to wee in the night. It did just that a couple of times but then we found that if the sensor gets wet (which it does, very easily) then the potty no longer plays its tunes resulting in a very disappointed little girl. Also, there is a gap between the seat unit and the removeable potty section which is just wide enough for a well aimed wee to escape through resulting in a very wet floor and a disappointed mummy! The idea is great - the actual item is not! Shame.
Great little potty! May 2, 2006 M. Sideris-Bettencourt 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
I ordered this potty for my son after being disappointed by another one I had purchased (from another maker) and which always produced spills since the tray was constantly falling out. This product looks very sturdy, comfortable for the child to sit on and, I'm not sure if they have improved it since other reviews on this page, but the tray secures very well on it. Now, I will admit that my son hasn't used it yet. We believe he was intimidated a little by the light sensor and even though I took the batteries out (would have preferred if it had an on/off switch) he still points at it, says nice potty but refuses to sit on it. Why did I give it five stars you will ask? Because the fact that my son was intimidated by it does not mean that other children will too. It is a very nice product. Better than anything I have ever seen here in Greece and believe me we searched a lot. So if you feel that your child may have the same problem as my son don't let that stop you from buying this cute and sturdy little potty/ chair as we call it. Just avoid putting the batteries in when you first introduce it to your child until he or she has adjusted to using it. Happy potty training!
Great product-but can buy cheaper elsewhere!! June 24, 2007 N. Hawkes (England,UK.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great fun way to teach potty training, & makes transisition to regular toilet much easier. I would suggest you search round though, can be bought much cheaper from www.additionsdirect.com Is only 30:00 with 3:50 P&P.
