Essential baby productJune 2, 2006 Book Worm(Staffs) 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
This is one baby item that is an essential not a luxury. Although it takes up a lot of space, there is so much offered by this one item that it is invaluable!
It provides a lovely soft and comfortable place to leave a baby that isn't able to sit up unsupported. It also has a number of toys and distractions built into the nest to keep your little one entertained. Definitely the best baby buy that I ever made!

I am glad to say that I was given this, rather than buying it. The friend that passed it on to me loved it but I have already given it away and my baby is only just 7 months old. The attached hanging toy bar never stayed up properly and before he could sit up unaided he just slumped over all the time. He showed no interest in the toys around him, but they are extremely basic, rustling and soft material. As soon as he was able to sit up, I thought this would be ideal as he could sit unaided but if he fell, he wouldn't hurt himself. In fact, he realised that if he twisted and turned enough he could throw himself over the edge and fall onto the floor. Also because it is so lightweight, when he pushes with his feet and throws his body back the whole thing topples over, again landing him on his head. No idea how this passed safety tests. He does generally love toys and plays for much much longer than his sister ever did but this is not the toy for us.
Excellent toy, value for moneyAugust 19, 2007 EM Hope-fitch 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the play nest for my baby when he was just 2months old, 3 1/2 months on he's able to sit up unaided and is showing a real interest in the activities. It's a safe place for him to sit while I busy around him. Couldn't do without it now and he loves it. I would say this is more useful than a bouncy chair and will definitely be of use for longer.
bright and colourfulFebruary 23, 2008 Luca's mum(Worcestershire) A bright and colourful play area for my son, who loves playing with his toys in his nest. Its great and he easily finds his toys when he drops them.
