Excellent Purchase February 19, 2007 Alan (UK) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
This bath thermometer really works well. Our baby either loves or hates his bath, purely depending on whether the water temperature is right or not. Unlike many other thermometers, this one digitally displays the temperature, rather than by means of a colour strip. The thermometer refreshes quickly, (about 1 sec) so is good for checking water temperature when mixing. The rubber casing means it is virtually unbreakable and can be left floating in the water whilst bathing. The design allows the thermometer to sit upright on a shelf or table which means that it can also double as a room thermometer when not being used for bathing.
Nice, but not perfect September 10, 2007 Mrs. Anel Laurens (London, UK) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
I wouldn't give the item the full 5 star rating, because : - it doesn't stay steady in the water, and it frequently flips over upside down, leaving the thermometer part outside the water. - we find it takes around 10 seconds to measure the temperature. Have to stop the water for a few moments while it retakes the temperature - if the water temperature is over 50C, it just displays "---", which isn't very helpful - first time I thought it was broken and promptly boiled my hand.
Reliable June 10, 2007 Borshee (London, England) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I love this product. Quick to refresh the temperature once you run fresh water in the tub or in the room if you open the window etc. Sits well on the shelf or floats in the tub. Very versatile, durable, pretty but most of all reliable.
Great thermometer !! Fun in Bath and Good Looking for Room July 6, 2007 S. Leighton (United Kingdom) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Excellent product - Couldnt ask for more, quick reading and small enough that it looks good and not too cumbersome. Was going to buy the grobag egg but the durability and versatility of this product is much better !! Highly recommended !!
Good until the screen mists over! January 2, 2008 M. L. Hawkett Would agree with previous comments that takes a while to get a reading and does flop over. But having bought two of these now I do like them.....but both have misted over so can no longer read the display!
