5 out of 5 stars Scrubs season 6   November 9, 2007

Scrubs season 6 starts out with JD facing the fact that Kim is pregnant, and, without giving anything away, that storeyline proceeds. Turk and Carla have Isabella, their daughter and also, Dr Cox and Jordan's unborn child is born [after having to have a post-natal surgery]. A big event is a death of one of the characters...
I loved this season, and there are many highlights - eg the musical episode 'My Musical'. A must buy for whenever it's out if you have a dvd player/computer/xbox/xbow 360/ps2/ps3.... - you see where I'm going with this - you'd be mad not to.

Ps - don't let anyone tell you otherwise [they're just Greys Anatomy/House/ER fans] - Scrubs is the best medical show around - and the best for comedy AND drame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Scrubs series 6   January 12, 2008

Series 6 is with us at last and yes, I still love scrubs. Although each series, up to number 5, seemed to get better, the format is getting a little tired. Saying that, we're up to series 6 and it's still hilarious, but those laugh out loud moments seem fewer this time around and JD's daydreams aren't as endearing as they used to be. The standard was so high previously that this series is still excellent and easily up to other shows best output. Characters have developed in this series and yet they still act in their usual funny ways. You still get to hear JD's hilarious internal monologue, as well as seeing some of his more outlandish imaginings. The various relationships, JD and Turk, Jordan and Cox, Carla and Turk, etc manage to be touching and yet packed with humour. The janitor is still tormenting JD, The Todd is still as chauvinistic and cringe making, Kelso is as sharp and cutting, Jordan is still as feisty and her role has developed a lot more over the past two series which I love. Dr Cox is as caustic and biting as ever. JD has developed a little in this series, dealing with Kim's pregnancy and this provides some touching and hilarious moments in equal measure. Still a great show despite my earlier reservations. Buy it, kick back and laugh until your sides need stitches, which they still will even after 6 series!

Massive Scrubs fan here. Seasons 1-3, lifechangingly awesome, Season 4 funny but more deliberately "whackier", more cutaways etc, and by Season 5 the show had become sillier and patchier, but with enough funny writing and good episodes to get away with it. Then Season 6...

So bad I almost gave it one star. Only a few episodes (My Musical, Their Story) saved it. The one-liners and snappy interplay are gone, and a lotta the actors look bored. The whole show just ground to a halt and stopped being funny. Clearly affected by doubts over its future, there is little here to suggest anyone involved is switched on further than autopilot. Season 7 is much funnier so far, shaping up to be a return to Season 5 form, and I'm really happy about that because I will always be a fan of the show and these characters. However, I would not feel good about spending money on this particular series.

In summary- every other season is good to great. This season is very poor.

4 out of 5 stars not bad - worth seeing   January 2, 2008

I don't really like the first few episodes in this series. I mean don't get me wrong, they are definitely action packed but they are even sillier and more exagerated than previous series'. I do think this series progresses well though and the episodes get better and better. Some episodes might make you cry (My no good reason) and some will make you laugh alot (my road to nowhere).

I think this series is Ok, much better than 5 but worse than 3. worth seeing though!
