woah! January 1, 2008 J. Henshaw (UK) 109 out of 113 found this review helpful
Right, I bought this dvd a few days ago. And I must say I am impressed. I have tried other workout dvds before and usually they don't have much of an impact and the celebrity claiming to have lost weight by the workout is just plain lying. But with this dvd, I see how Natalie Cassidy was able to lose weight. The first section which is the warm up, really does warm you and prepare you for the next section which is the sweat section. And God, did I sweat! I sweated even more in the punching section. Although, the last section which was crunch, doesnt yet fit well with me. Not really sure what it's supposed to do but I do it anyway. I say that anything that makes you work up such a sweat must be good. My muscles ached and I was knackered but I felt proud that I'd got through it. First time round, I gave up after the second section. But then the next day I got through the whole thing and it wasn't that bad. The steps are quite confusing at times, but you can get them in the end. I actually enjoyed this dvd, and I think its more believable than others...I mean look at her now. Yeah, so I do recommend this dvd to others. I'll report back of any weight loss.

On first glance, this looks really impressive. Natalie looks amazing and the instructor doesn't seem as annoying as the last one (maybe she read the comments here on Amazon!!) The warmup and sweat sections are very low impact but high intensity aerobic and the punch section is boxing moves. This dvd looks much better than Charlie Brooks one as the sections are a bit longer and just looking at Natlie and how much weight she has lost spurs you on to do the workout. ***** After trying this, I would lower the rating to 4 stars as the instruction was really poor on the toning section. Be aware if you have back problems when doing some of the moves. This along with Davina and Vicky Binns are really good dvd's and not the usual celeb rubbish, this will definately be used a lot in my house.
AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS!!! January 2, 2008 Jo (UK) 56 out of 61 found this review helpful
I'm very sceptical of workout dvds, but I can honestly say that this one was a pleasant surprise. I thought I'd give it a try as it seemed much more realistic and more aerobic than other celebrity workout dvds, and I wasn't disappointed. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, just toning up really, and this is great for that. It's pretty full on and very hard work; I also wouldn't recommend it for anyone with bad joint problems or a massive amount of weight to lose; but I thought it was fantastic. It's encouraging to see how well Natalie has done with it (as well as with a healthy diet), and I for one can see myself sticking with this! A must buy if you're serious about toning up!

Phew, loosening my belt after Xmas dinner, I knew i had to do something about my eating habits and my ever expanding waistline! While shopping for some january sale bargains I spotted this in Woolworths. The transformation of Natalie on the front cover is truly amazing and she has done so well. Deciding that if she could do it then so could I, I bought the DVD! From first glimpses it is pretty impressive, there is a whole selection of different meal choices as treats and snacks to help you. The workouts themselves look easy to pick up but physically challenging. The music could be better but if you get results then I don't suppose the music really matters. I'll keep you posted on any weight loss!
An inspiration or a fantasy? May 10, 2008 Wayne Redhart (West Midlands, UK) 19 out of 26 found this review helpful
Although my wife has never been much of a keep-fit enthusiast, she soon changed her tune when she discovered that Natalie Cassidy had brought out an exercise DVD. Doreen didn't initially take to the physical demands with any particular ease (by the time she had finished the five minute warm-up, she was sweating like a Catholic priest inside an orphanage sauna!) but she has perservered and her hard work is now gradually paying off. Let's be honest though, gents! Let me stress that nobody can blame a lady for seeking to improve upon her personal appearance. HOWEVER, if Jo(sephine) Public sincerely believes that the use of this expert-led workout video is likely to bring about the naturally ravishing looks of Sonia off Eastenders, she is simply kidding herself! Does this film act as a positive example, or does it merely serve to dupe our ladies into harbouring ill-fated delusions that they could ever attain such an unrealistic level of feminine beauty?
