JUST TO CLARIFY - Updated October 13, 2007 J. Alexander (Chester) 156 out of 183 found this review helpful
No one series of Family Guy has all of the episodes. Season One DVD is made up of DISC ONE: Season One DISC TWO: First Part Of Season Two Season Two DVD is made up of: DISC ONE: Second Part Of Season Two DISC TWO: Third Part Of Season Two & One Episode Of Season Three Season Three DVD is made up of: DISC ONE: First Part Of Season Three DISC TWO: Second Part Of Season Three DISC THREE: Third Part Of Season Three - Minus the last episode which is on Season Two DVD Season Four DVD is made up of: DISC ONE: First Part Of Season Four DISC TWO: Second Part Of Season Four DISC THREE: Third Part Of Season Four Season Five DVD is made up of: DISC ONE: Fourth Part Of Season Four DISC TWO: Fifth Part Of Season Four DISC THREE: Sixth Part Of Season Four - Minus Final Three Episodes Family Guy Presents: Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story DISC CONTAINS: The Final Three episodes of Season Four, which are not on the season five DVD, and are here merged, with bonus material, into an eighty minute movie. Season Six DVD is made up of: DISC ONE: First Part of Season Five DISC TWO: Second Part Of Season Five DISC THREE: Special Features There are still a few more episodes from Season Five that are not on this new Season Six DVD, which will presumably be released with the Season Seven DVD, alongside the first episodes of Season Six. In fact, the first episode of Season Six (the actual series, not the DVD) is called Blue Harvest, a one hour special Star Wars feature. The whole of Star Wars Episode Four, Family Guy style, with Chris as Luke, Peter as Han, Lois as Leia, Stewie as Darth Vader, Brian as Chewbacca and Meg as the squid monster in the trash compactor! It will be released seperatley on DVD in January 2008.
This silly series is the funniest thing at the moment. August 28, 2007 Mr. D. Bowman 34 out of 46 found this review helpful
It's silly. It's offensive. It's random. It hardly follows the plot. BUT it's still brilliant. Essentially more of the same, only some more consistently great episodes than the last couple of series and even holds a brilliant cutaway (the shows style) referencing the last Football World Cup. Dispite the complains the price for 13 episodes is still much, much better than just about every Brit series ever (Which charges a similar price for 6 episodes) so it's still great value. If you like silly adult humor you'll have to love Famly Guy.
I Disagree... August 25, 2007 J. A. Taylor 32 out of 44 found this review helpful
The Reviewer Below Me Makes a Fair Point that The Box Set only Contains some of the Episodes from the Season which is a Disgrace. However it is not the fault of Seth Macfarlane (or any of the Creators of Family Guy) that Fox Have decided to do this and should not judge the actual episodes or DVD on that. You Should Get this DVD Box Set, All the episodes on This DVD are Quality, a Must Buy for a Fan or someone who may be new to Family Guy. Also to Correct the Reader Below, There will be 16 Episodes on this DVD (The 3 Unreleased Stewie Griffin: Movie Censored Episodes and the First 13 from Season 5: Stewie Loves Lois - Bill & Peter's Bogus Journey) & Alot of DVD Extras which may explain why Fox are Unable to Put all the Episodes of Three DVDs.
Quality Dropping and Fox Money Making Scheme August 24, 2007 Billy Everyteen 27 out of 72 found this review helpful
I find it a disgrace that the corporate fat cats at Fox have decided to only put 13 episodes on this box set. It is a waste of money, what are they going to do with the other 5 episodes? I buy Simpsons DVDs because the show is quality, and it is a FULL season. I dont think there has been a truly positive review about this. And it is too late for Fox to change it. So I am considering not buying this DVD. I think you should all consider it too. You're a sell out Family guy.
