Bad Girls 7 - Back to it's original amazing self April 27, 2006 Deano's (Cheshire, UK) 41 out of 45 found this review helpful
Bad Girls series 7 is a must buy for any Bad Girls fan, this series has gone back to more original storylines from series like 1 and 2, sries 4-6 kind of got a little messy and characters were coming and going and storylines all over the place but finally this series has seen some amazing new storylines and characters. New characters include the amazing new 'top dog' Pat Kerrigan and her lover Sheena whose amazing relationship will have you drawn in and holding back the tears. Natalie Buxton the "new Shell Dockley" is amazing and has really become a much loved true Bad Girl this series. Having Pat and Natalie does remind you of going back to the good old days of Yvonne and Shell. Also new characters who come in for one storyline during the series are back with the the character Laura Canning, a girl who butchered her mother and believed to have killed her sister who comes in around episode 4 making a fantastic piece of drama. We see the end of Fenner which is very dissapointing for fans to see TV's biggest Bad Boy finally leave the show but that is not the end we see of him! Series 7 includes the amazing Christmas Special with the haunting of Fenner and the entrance of crazy psychopath Miranda Miles making for some very extreme drama which is shocking and scary and fun all at the same time. Series 7 is a complete joy to watch and a must see for any Bad Girls fan and also if you love drama and other shows by Shed Productions such as Footballer's Wives. 10/10

Series 7 is in my opinion the best series ever. It's a brilliant series and starts of from where series 6 left off; Fenner's arrest. We see Fenner on the other side of the bars and now we see how an ex-screw can cope. He gets a beating from the cons, for being a screw. He requests afterwards to go on rule 43. So the officers lock him up with the scum of the earth. Fenner just about fits in with some of them. However with help from Di he gets out of prison and blackmails Grayling into giving him his job back, as well as the role of wing govoner. We have new charcters in this series, such as Janine Nebeski, Arun Palmer and Pat Kerrigan. We say goodbye to Hedges in this series and Colin is replaced by a man named Kevin Spears, who has a creepy side to him you can't put your finger on. Sylvia remarries in this series, to Dr Nicholson, but the honeymoon however goes terribly wrong. This series has thirteen classic episodes (including the christmas special) and this series is interesting all the way through from beginning to end. We have Fenner behind bars (I've already mentioned), a nun (Sister Thomas she's known as) joining G-Wing and Kerrigan's brilliant entry, where she holds Sister Thomas hostage and reveals a dirty dark secret Sister Thomas has kept from the world. There's also Bodybag's honeymoon disaster, Oswyn and Tull's escape, the Yvonne Atkins memorial sevice, where her death is at last avenged and the new number one; Joy masterton who's as hard as nails and someone who you don't one to get on the wrong side off.

After buying all the previous series here on Amazon (so I could watch them all again and again), I eagerly anticipated the release of series 7. The latest series prior to that were not quite up to the usual standard set in the first few series, however were very much enjoyable. Having already watched this series on television last year, I cannot wait for this box set, on fire with great storylines and romances and a few cool new characters that fit in very well to the series. Woo!
