Good show, poor release! March 17, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The show was very very impressive, with a main event fight of Carlos Newton trying to regain his belt after a very very contraversial loss to Matt Hughes and the under card is peppered with British fighters the show itself is a very good on.Good variety of fights from brawls to technical chess matches, this event featured fights that went the distance, knockouts, and submissions but the first thing that struck me about this particular dvd was compared to many of the recent releases (44, 43, 42, 41, 40, 39, Knockouts & Submission) this dvd had absolutely NO EXTRAS!!!!! Like I said the show itself was a very very good one, not as long as some but still worth the money as this is one of the cheapest (if not THE cheapest) ufc dvd's on the market today. Well worth a watch but NO EXTRAS!!!
Let's get it on! July 10, 2004 Mr. M. J. Finney 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Beautiful. Let battle commence in the first (hopefully not the last)UFC to be held on British soil. Britain's best take on seasoned UFC vets in the best sport in the world. The DVD is worth buying if only to watch Japan's magnificent Genki Sudo! This guy is a pure entertainer, both in the ring and out! Thought you had seen the flashest entrances? Think again. Called the 'Neo Samurai' this guy kicks ass for the lord. See Sunderland's very own Ian 'The Machine' Freeman take on Frank Mir. Like KO's? Like big KO's? Let's face it, who doesn't?! Watch the Mark Weir fight for what is one of the quickest KO's i've yet to see (10 secs) Enjoy!
