Bad Boys II fulfils every audience expectation and then some: no-one goes to a movie directed by Michael Bay for delicacy and grace; you go because Bay (Armageddon, The Rock) knows how to make your bones rattle during a high-speed chase when a car flips over, spins through the air and smacks another car with a visceral crunch. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence may be mere puppets amid all this burning rubber and shrieking metal, but they actually provide a human core to the endless cascade of car wrecks and gunfights. Their easy rapport makes their personal problems--a running joke is Lawrence's attempts at anger management--as engaging as the sheer visual hullabaloo of bullets and explosions. The plot is recycled nonsense about drug lords and dead bodies being used to smuggle drugs, but the orchestration of violence is symphonic. If that's your thing, then this is for you. --Bret Fetzer

Will smith and Martin larence are the best when it comes to action, guns and death! Men in Black 2 wasn't as good as the 1st one and most people thought that bad boys 2 was going to be the same. But people were wrong! The number 2 in the title of a movie is always a sign that its no going to be as good as before. Bad Boys 2 proved me wrong, I have to say this was one of the best movies i have ever seen! The feachers arn't that bad iether. Loads of extra, never before seen footage and song videos from the movie. If your looking to buy a copie of bad boys 2 form amazon.co.uk, go ahead!

This is by the far the best film I have watched this year.Its action packed and keeps you on the edge of your seat.This film certainly exceeds my expectations and is one of Martin Lawrences best films with a brilliant story line to go with it.A MUST BUY!

I quietly loved the original and was very surprised when a sequel was being touted. Much more surprised when the original stars came back. You just know that Smith is only there to try and help rebuild his friend Lawrences' career. Was it worth it?
Well, not sure. Smith has made a few dubious career choices lately and has certainly lost his magic touch. MIB2 was pointless, just an exact rehash of the original. This though, really does try to push the original idea forwards. You get the idea that Bad Boys 2 is the movie they originally wanted to make years ago, but didnt have the budget.
The action is breathtaking. We were supposed to be in awe of the car chase in the second Matrix movie, but it has nothing on this. The chase with the dead bodies is close to the mark, but who cares.
The banter however, is the low point. Why make the two of them start to question each other, when we want to root for them? But, when the unscripted arguing is in full flow, its like a warm, funny blanket.
An undeniable pleasure, with a slight aftertaste of 'am i allowed to really enjoy that?'
Well, yes you can. Big, loud, stupid and funny cinema at its best

I went to see this film the week after it came out, i loved the first one but i loved this one even more its one of the best films ive seen for a long time! Gabrielle union looks stunnin throughout the film, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are brilliant at times i couldn't stop myself from laughing there are some really funny bits in it and i will definatley be getting it when it comes out!

TO begin with i must say that i enjoyed the first movie. This sequel is based on the same recipe. A basic cop plot with the bad mafia people threatening our heroes...
The directors have to their credit added some nice ideas to the generic plot and manage to shift the focus to the stunts and the funny touches rathern than the overall scenario itself.
The stunts are great and as always we get the usual shooting. The action scenes are great and the two heroes deliver a solid and believable acting.
The major drawback is that the actual characters have not been altered at all. Let me explain myself: the first part was a success because of the huge contrasts between the various characters that were the basis of the "funny situations". In this sequel we get these contrasts as well but it feals as if its bad boys I revisited...it stilli s funny up to some point but by no means as captivating as the first part. Should you invest??? If you are into action movies and you are looking for a well directed and relaxed movie go for it. If you are a plot-lover go for another movie because this one borders on being a no-think one...
