definitely a classicSeptember 18, 2006 Andrew Small(London) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been watching martial arts films since the age of around 5 years old, which means that I have been watching these types of films now for around 22 years. This films is in my top 10 martials arts films of this era. It has the right balance of fight scenes, comedy and typical story line from this era. If you like authenticate martials arts like myself, then you will like this film.
Don't be fooled...September 14, 2006 Severin(Brighton, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Don't be fooled by this film's title. The Wu-Tang Clan have taken many good names from awful films just because they sound good. I see that some reviewers have this film in their favourites and it's the kind of cheap, trite drivel that high-street stores have in their Martial Art's section. The ONLY reason for this is because of the WU-Tang link. I guess that if you're desperate or a complete Wu-Tang obssessive, you might rent or even buy this. Keep your receipt! It's cheap, has the same old lame plot, bad picture, bad sound, poor dubbing, but worst of all - lame, boring, boring, boring martial arts. Be warned.
Great end fightFebruary 9, 2007 H. Lok(UK) If you like to fast forward your martial arts movies to the end fight, I don't think you will be disappointed. I can't see anything to do with the Wu Tang Clan, its a Vengeance video presentation. The end fight is rather long, but theres plenty of acrobatics vs kung fu/taekwon-do type kicks. Casanova Wong was a high kicking specialist and this film certainly showcases his skills. Peter Chen Lau is very Jackie Chan-esque, and the final combat scene is very reminescent of the end fight scenes in the Once Upon A Time in China! Great film for fast-forwarding kung fu film fanatics!
